Combined with an amazing natural heritage, we find an archaeological and architectural heritage that gives us the possibility of taking a journey through time, from prehistory to the present day.
Enjoying traditional sausages or the famous Fornos-style lamb, indulging in tasty rice pudding or creamed milk, all washed down with a good “Dão” wine, are in themselves valid reasons to try local products and cuisine.
Personally, I hadn't been to Fornos de Algodres since 2011, but I did it at a good time because it gave me the opportunity to discover this very pleasant, peaceful and silent place, ideal for a few days of rest, true relaxation, conducive to meditation, and so pleasant.
